Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
Responsibilities:
1. Change Management Planning: Apply a structured change management methodology to create comprehensive change management plans, including impact assessments, stakeholder analysis and engagement.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Design and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to support change initiatives, including workshop facilitation, focus groups and communication session, to foster alignment, build trust, and manage resistance.
3. Content Development: Draft, edit, and finalize key communication materials for project teams, ensuring messages are clear, persuasive, and aligned with the overall change narrative and corporate branding.
4. Communications Execution: Develop and execute high-quality, compelling, and consistent communications plans across various channels globally (email, intranet, presentations, videos, etc.) to inform and engage all relevant stakeholders (executives, managers, employees).
5. Resistance Management: Proactively identify potential resistance and concerns, develop and execute mitigation strategies, and facilitate project teams on their roles as change advocates.
6. Training and Enablement: Partner with Learning & Development teams to develop materials to ensure employees have the knowledge and ability to adopt the changes.
7. Measurement and Reporting: Define success metrics, monitor progress of change adoption, collect feedback, and prepare reports for leadership on the effectiveness of change and communication efforts, recommending necessary adjustments.
