Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. In 2023, the company served 528 customers with 11,895 products for high performance computing, smartphones, IoT, automotive, and consumer electronics, and is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs with annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and its ESMC subsidiary plans to begin construction on a fab in Germany in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.
As a Payroll Excellence Specialist, you will manage end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize processes and adhere to regulations. Key responsibilities include processing payroll, handling employment verification, and safeguarding records with confidentiality. Your attention to detail and adaptability will drive operational excellence and contribute to organizational success.
Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Payroll Management: Take ownership of the full payroll cycle for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, allowances, bonuses, overtime payments, deductions, and insurance contributions.
2. Collaboration & Coordination: Partner with internal departments (such as HR and Finance) and external stakeholders (such as insurance providers and government agencies) to optimize payroll processes and maintain compliance with regulations.
3. Employment Verification: Respond promptly and professionally to employment verification requests, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all communication.
4. Project Involvement: Contribute to payroll-related projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and special initiatives that align with company goals.
5. Compliance & Auditing: Maintain strict adherence to company audit controls, internal policies, and local labor laws to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
6. Record Maintenance: Organize, file, and securely maintain payroll records to uphold data integrity and confidentiality.
